About UniVentures 2025
UniVentures 2025 is a structured incubation program designed to nurture early-stage startups founded by university students, alumni, and researchers. The Top 10 startups were officially announced on January 29, 2026, in Ho Chi Minh City, following a nationwide selection process.
The program is co-organized by BLOCK71 Vietnam and Temasek Foundation, with a total support and investment value of USD 250,000 sponsored by Golden Gate Ventures. UniVentures focuses on key sectors that are critical to long-term economic and societal development, including healthcare, sustainability, productivity, education and skills, and fintech.
From more than 1,400 applications across Vietnam, only 10 startups were selected to participate in a three-month intensive incubation program at BLOCK71 Vietnam. The program combines hands-on mentorship, specialized training, and access to regional market networks, enabling founders to refine their business models and prepare for scalable growth.
The National Innovation Center (NIC) accompanies the program as an ecosystem connector, policy supporter, and facilitator of public–private partnerships. UniVentures also contributes to strengthening Vietnam–Singapore innovation collaboration under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership framework.
The program culminates in Demo Day, which represents the outcome of a rigorous selection, training, and evaluation process. Finalists are assessed across multiple dimensions, including strategic thinking, feasibility, execution capability, and long-term growth potential.
